Scripture– Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 1:18, ESV)
Reflection– From the Spirit hovering over the face of the deep “in the beginning,” to superintending Mary supernaturally conceiving and giving birth to the Christ child, the Holy Spirit is actively involved, even now, in the life of individuals and nations.
Question– Are you, as Paul writes, “keeping in step with the Holy Spirit?”(Galatians 5:25)
